Performances
Drums! Drama! Daring! Danger! Not quite a freak show, but it might get stranger! Performances harness the playful power of poetry to entertain, inspire, and educate people of all ages.

Learn some of the basic moves of the poetry game by acting out poems in a participatory show. Shows are f
ull of poetry, songs, bits of magic, and humorous sketches. Performances are for groups of all sizes and last 50 minutes.
Workshops
Discover your own voice by creating an original poem. It's not as difficult as you think to create rhythms, images, metaphors, and characters.

With my patented "Slurp! Slop! Slip!" method everyone can have success. Workshops are for groups of all sizes and last 50 minutes.
We may not all be poets, but everyone has poetry!

Poetry Day
A Poetry Day combines two large group performances and three small group workshops. If you want your students to love reading and writing, teach them poetry. Its playfulness appeals to all ages and it will build serious literary muscle.
Open Mic Night
Add an Open Mic Night and give students a chance to recite their poems for friends and family.  Bill is the host. Your kids are the stars. Your families will bask in the glow.
Residency
Inspire and empower your students to discover and develop their own poetic voice with a multiple day poetic experience. During a Residency students go through the entire writing process.

Along with group performances, each individual class enjoys a writing workshop where students create poems of their own. Young writers learn to create vivid images, invent effective metaphors, and use the lyrical devices that make language come to life.

The week culminates in an Open Mike Night.
It may be a small thing, but poetry can have a big impact on your school!
