Poetry Packs Punch
Poetry packs a punch
Without ever raising it's hand. It'll jack you up, Knock you down, And bury you where you stand. Poetry packs a punch The strongest can't withstand. Forget all you've heard About power and strength. Poetry's power Isn't measured in length. It's not height, not heft, not hulk. It's almost made of nothing, Yet somehow full of bulk. Poetry packs a punch But you'll never get a black eye. Then again - I wouldn't turn my head: Poetry is full of surprise. |
